This is where the QX-1 absolutely shines. While other golfers are nervously standing over bad lies, you'll be confidently attacking every shot. The Thump Sole™ glides across:

The beveled leading edge slides through tangled grass like butter, while the ultra-wide sole prevents digging even when you hit slightly behind the ball.
If you struggle with blocking wedges to the right or battling a big slice — yes, you'll think the QX-1 is the best full-swing wedge you've ever hit. The extra weight and compact head put metal right behind the sweet spot. However: because of the upright lie angle, the ball will go left or draw more than a normal club. So we don't recommend it for full swings if you usually hit your wedges straight.
