1. A Deeply Beveled Leading Edge
This is the truly revolutionary feature that will likely be copied in the future. By adding the deep bevel, the BX-1's designers boosted the club's built-in bounce to around 25 degrees — about twice what you'll find on a conventional sand wedge.
What this means for you: More bounce means less digging. Less digging means less trouble getting out of sand.
2. An Ultra-Wide, Flat Sole (Nearly 2")
Where a conventional wedge's sole might be 1" deep, the BX-1's measures nearly 2". It's also much flatter than standard. The width makes the BX-1 glide through sand even without tons of swing speed — perfect for seniors and recreational golfers who can't blast it out.
3. 63° of Loft
That's 7–9° more than most sand wedges. Easier to get up and over a high lip and stop quickly on the green.
